Charg\u00e9e de superviser toutes les op\u00e9rations men\u00e9es par le CICR sur le continent africain, elle est responsable de plus de 7 000 employ\u00e9s et g\u00e8re un budget de 750 millions de dollars US. Entr\u00e9e au CICR en 1996, elle a effectu\u00e9 plusieurs missions \u00e0 travers le monde avant d\u2019occuper ce poste. Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu un master en agro\u00e9conomie, g\u00e9ographie et science de l\u2019environnement, elle a suivi des \u00e9tudes de troisi\u00e8me cycle \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, dans le domaine de la recherche en d\u00e9veloppement.
