Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 ambassadeur aupr\u00e8s de la Pologne (2006-2009). Il a rejoint le minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res en 1980 et a travaill\u00e9, entre autres, \u00e0 l\u2019Ambassade \u00e0 Washington D.C. ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la mission permanente \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve. En 2010, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 Chef de protocole pour le Comit\u00e9 pr\u00e9sidentiel dans le cadre du Sommet du G20 \u00e0 S\u00e9oul.
