Vice-pr\u00e9sident et secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Shanghai Development Research Foundation (SDRF), une institution \u00e0 but non lucratif dont l’objectif est de promouvoir la recherche sur les questions de d\u00e9veloppement. Expert d\u00e9tach\u00e9 en finances et \u00e9conomie internationales au minist\u00e8re des Finances. M. Qiao a \u00e9t\u00e9 admis \u00e0 la Kennedy School of Government \u00e0 Harvard en 1985. Apr\u00e8s l’obtention de son dipl\u00f4me, il est entr\u00e9 au Harvard Institute for International Development et a effectu\u00e9 des travaux de recherche. En 1995, il est retourn\u00e9 en Chine en tant que repr\u00e9sentant en chef et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de New York Life jusqu’en mai 2003. Il est ensuite entr\u00e9 \u00e0 la Shanghai Development Research Foundation en tant que responsable du travail quotidien, un poste qu\u2019il occupe encore aujourd\u2019hui. Avant d’\u00e9tudier aux \u00c9tats-Unis, il a men\u00e9 des recherches \u00e0 l’Institute of World Economy de la Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, en tant que directeur adjoint.
