James is driving cultural and regulatory renewal as the Director, Explosives Regulatory Division, Natural Resources Canada, Government of Canada. Previous to his current role he has worked at the heart of the Canadian federal public service in both the Privy Council Office and Treasury Board Secretariat. He has also worked in consulting for Deloitte and the Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto. He was selected as a Fellow in the Action Canada public policy leadership program, participating in a yearlong program with leaders and influencers in regions across Canada. He graduated with his Masters degree from Dalhousie University.
