Karl Kaiser

Karl Kaiser is Senior Associate of the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Adjunct Professor Emeritus at Harvard Kennedy School, he taught at the Universities of Bonn, Johns Hopkins in Bologna, Saarbrücken, Cologne, the Hebrew University, and Harvard University. He was a Director of the German Council on Foreign Relations in Bonn and Berlin as well as an advisor to Chancellors Brandt and Schmidt. He holds a Ph.D. from Cologne University and an honorary doctorate of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He was educated at the Universities of Cologne, Grenoble and Oxford.
