Chantilly, FRANCE

CHANTILLY, located less than an hour north of Paris, is a jewel of French heritage. Renowned for its history, equestrian traditions, and fine craftsmanship, it is world-famous for its majestic château and delicate lace. Chantilly embodies the French art de vivre: culture, nature, and refinement.
The Château de Chantilly, an iconic landmark, is among the finest examples of classical architecture in France. Built from the 16th to the 19th centuries, it now houses the Condé Museum, home to one of the richest art collections after the Louvre, with masterpieces by Raphael, Nicolas Poussin, Ingres, and Delacroix. The château is surrounded by gardens designed in the French style by Le Nôtre, an Anglo-Chinese garden, and expansive waterways.
Chantilly is also a world hub for equestrian culture. Its Great Stables, an 18th-century masterpiece, host the Living Museum of the Horse and equestrian shows that blend tradition and modernity. The racecourse hosts prestigious events such as the Prix de Diane.
