President and founder of Club Romania since 2011, he started his career in journalism in 1990 as an editor for the Tineretul Liber newspaper. He later worked as a press correspondent for a Romanian newspaper and TV channel in Hungary and the Republic of Moldova. He then became Personal Advisor to the Secretary of State for Romanians Abroad (2000) and to the Ministry of Tourism (2001–2003). In 2009, he served as Under Secretary of State for Foreign Trade.He graduated in Journalism and Communication Sciences. As the leader of the think tank Club Romania, in addition to its current participation in various national and international dialogue formats, he has dedicated the last ten years to coordinating the project “Documentary Notebooks – Club Romania”, a series of 10 thematic volumes that includes contributions from over 900 leading experts from the academic, economic, socio-political, and cultural fields, focusing on integrated sectoral approaches. The series constitutes a true “Romanian Encyclopedia” of analysis, oriented towards the dissemination of knowledge.
