Head of Strategic Research Center at the Turkish Foreign Ministry (SAM). He worked at the Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies (ASAM) (1999-2001). He served as director of the Center for Research of the European Union, Istanbul University business, İstanbul Ticaret University. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Boğaziçi in Istanbul. He holds a PhD in political science from Bilkent University and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Essex.
