He consulted for international organizations (UNDP, European Union, World Bank), Arab countries’ governments and industrial firms. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, with an MBA from the Centre de Perfectionnement des Affaires (HEC), and postgraduate degrees in mechanical engineering from the Institut National des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires and in social anthropology from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales.
