La prochaine World Policy Conference aura lieu à Séoul en décembre
SEOUL, 09 avr. (Yonhap) — La 7e édition de la World Policy Conference (WPC), comparable au Forum économique mondial (WEF) de Davos, se tiendra à Séoul en décembre prochain, a fait savoir ce mercredi le ministère des Affaires étrangères.
«La WPC à Séoul appellera à une coopération étendue au sein de la communauté internationale et à établir des fondements institutionnels pour la paix en Asie-Pacifique», a révélé un responsable du ministère. Ce sera la première fois que le WPC se déroulera dans un pays asiatique.
Cette conférence dirigée par l’Institut français des relations internationales (IFRI) a été lancée en 2008 en France.
Lors de la dernière conférence tenue en décembre 2013 à Monaco, ont participé une vingtaine d’administrateurs de haut niveau, parmi lesquels les vice-Premiers ministres de la Turquie et de la Belgique et les ministres des Affaires étrangères de la France, de l’Iran et de la Suède pour discuter de l’état de l’économie mondiale, de la gouvernance et du futur de la diplomatie.
