Prominent Palestinian leader and member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) since his election in 2006. He took part in negotiations as a member of the Palestinian negotiating team after the signing of the Oslo Accords. He established the Preventive Security Service (PSS) in Gaza in 1994. He held the position of National Security Advisor in 2002. He also served as Minister of State for Internal Security in 2003 and as National Security Advisor in 2007. He was elected a member of Fatah Central Committee in its 6th Conference held in Bethlehem on August 2009.
Chang Dal-joong
Professor Emeritus of Political Science and International Relations at Seoul National University. He is currently an advisory committee member for policy affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was a Fulbright scholar and a two-time Japan Foundation Fellow. Before joining Seoul National University, he taught at the Korea Military Academy and Sogang Jesuit University. He earned his PhD in Political Science at the University of California at Berkeley after having completed his BA and MA degrees at Seoul National University.
Manu Mallikarjun
Social entrepreneur working in the fields of International Relations and Real Estate Development. His current projects include a film series, for which as filmmaker he has documented his interactions with economists, activists, politicians, diplomats, academics, and spiritual leaders amongst others, with the aim of exploring potential paths to a peaceful, just and sustainable world. The first film titled Birth of a Poet was an official selection at the Global Nonviolent Film Festival, 2019. Furthermore, Manu has penned a book that is slated for publication soon, in which he shares his findings about and reflections on what he describes as “an ever-elusive Global Harmony”. Having been in the real estate industry over the past several years, he has had extensive private sector experience previously as well in the fields of Information & Communication Technology, Finance, and Outsourcing. Manu is an Electronics and Communication engineer (R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore) and holds three Master’s degrees: MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University (School of Advanced International Studies, Washington D.C. and Bologna), Global Master in Real Estate Development from IE University (School of Architecture and Design, Madrid), and Master in Creative Writing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona School of Management). Kim Sung-han
Professor of International Relations at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) since 2007 and director of Ilmin International Relations Institute, Korea University since 2013. He served as a Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (2012-2013). Before entering the government, he was a professor and associate dean at GSIS, Korea University. He is now the Chair of the Korean National Committee of CSCAP (Council on Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific). He holds a PhD from the University of Texas, Austin, USA.
Ju Chul-Ki
President of the Overseas Koreans Foundation. Previously he was Senior Secretary for Foreign Affairs and National Security to the President, Korea. Before that, he served as Vice President and Secretary-General of the Global Compact Korea Network and also taught at the Graduate School of International Studies of the Seoul National University as visitng professor. He retired from diplomatic service at the end of 2006 after a long career that culminated in his ambassadorship to France and to UNESCO. He also served as Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, to Morocco and Mauritania. He was Director-General of Economic Affairs at the Korean Foreign Ministry. He studied at Seoul National University and the Graduate School of Public Administration in France, and also received a master’s degree in international politics from the Free Brussels University in Belgium.

Professor at the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po. Kim Chulsu
Senior advisor at Lee International IP & Law Group in Seoul and Chairman of Institute for Trade and Investment (ITI), a research and consulting organization affiliated with Lee International, a law firm based in Seoul. He previously taught trade policy at Sejong University and served as its President (2002-2005). From 1995 to 1999, he served as Deputy Director-General of the WTO. He was the Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy (1993-1994). He was appointed Korea’s Ambassador for International Trade in 1994. Hyun Hong-Choo

Ribal Al-Assad
Founder and Director of the Organisation for Democracy and Freedom in Syria and Chairman of the Iman Foundation. She served as Economist for the French energy regulator (Commission de Régulation de l’Energie) (2008-2014). She holds a PhD in Economics from Paris Dauphine University and is the author of several papers on energy.

A French historian, he was appointed Director of Policy Planning at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in March 2013. In this role, he advises the Minister on his strategic decisions and provides background analysis and forecast on international affairs. Prior to this appointment, Justin Vaïsse was Senior Fellow in Foreign Policy at the Brookings Institution and an adjunct professor at SAIS (Johns Hopkins University). An Associate teacher at the Paris School of International Affairs, Dr. Vaïsse is the author of numerous books on the United States, including Neoconservatism – The Biography of a Movement (Harvard University Press, 2010). President of the Global Commerce Institute of Lee&Ko, a leading global law firm in Korea, President of Seoul Forum for International Affairs (SFIA), Professor Emeritus (former professor and Dean) of the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Seoul National University and Chairman of the Korean Committee of the Trilateral Commission and the Co-Chair of Korea-Canada Forum. Professor Bark served as Non-Resident Senior Visiting Scholar at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs of the Harvard Kennedy School. He has participated in the Task Force on Global Capitalism in Transition of the Trilateral Commission as an Asia-Pacific member. He served as Minister for Trade of the Korean government (from December 2011 until March 2013). In spring 2013, Dr. Bark was in the race for the Director-General position of the WTO as the Korean candidate. He also served as Chairman of the International Trade Commission of the Korean Government. He taught at Sciences Po, Stanford University and the University of Washington as a visiting professor.
